Can you help children to understand how money is used and build on financial awareness in the home? Help children understand ways that people can work together to manage money at home and understand the options that people have.

This activity is part of our range of Money Heroes resources for children with special educational needs.

These resources have been adapted to be flexible for use in a range of settings and with children of varying abilities or special educational needs. Rather than using age groups or key stages, each activity has been given a difficulty level, based on children’s financial knowledge, skills and understanding. Practitioners should choose activities based on the financial capability level of the children they are working with.

This is an **advanced** level activity – this level suits children who are ready to start building on their financial education knowledge and basic understanding with more challenging thinking and development of skills.

Become a Money Hero! - Advanced

Players will be tasked with planning the end of year school disco! They will have to carefully consider what will make their event a success, choosing between three options for items such as the venue, DJ and food and drink.  Will they stay within budget and let guests into the event for free, or spend more but charge for tickets?  This game can be played multiple times and will change every time you play.
